Christmas Foods! - Twelve days of Christmas

Welcome back everyone to another twelve days of Christmas post!

Today I am going to be talking about the foods that make me feel festive! As with my Christmas films these are in no particular order!

Plain vanilla custard!
This may seem like a odd one but this is literally one of my favourite foods, so much so that my mum keeps it out of the house until Christmas time as I will just devour it! Also custard makes me feel festive as it is traditional to have my grandads custard with our Christmas pudding that has rum essence in it, so that always brings back good memories for me.

Mince Pies!
This is a classic Christmas food! I remember thinking that these had actual mince and me being a vegetarian i stopped eating them for a bit then i realised that they aren't actually meat! Whoops yay for young minds!

Cream and Rice bubbles!
This may seem incredibly odd to you but to me its Christmas in a food! I assume it was my mother who put me onto this combination but it is delicious as I'm sure you can imagine it is only a food for certain times of the year!

My Grandads Christmas pudding!
This is very specific to me but my grandad used to make his own Christmas pudding but these days has resorted to just buying one but thats not the thing that makes it the best, my grandad will put coins into our pudding! This probably seems very odd but I've grown up with it so its Christmasy! Usually its about $1 in 20c coins I'm not sure why but this is a tradition that i love and am planning on continuing.

And those are the 4 foods that make me feel super festive!

I hope that you have enjoyed this foody post for today, if there is anything you're wanting to see throughout the twelve days of Christmas and next year feel free to comment, message me on Facebook or email me to let me know your suggestion.

Christmas photography - twelve days of Christmas

Hello again! Welcome to another twelve days of Christmas!

Today I'm showing you some of my past Christmas photography! It is mostly macro but there is also an outfit photo, and another that has featured on my blog already HERE!

This is just a simple macro photo of a Christmas lily. I love these as they are so different and interesting to photograph.

This is just a slightly creepy angel that is on our Christmas tree! This is another macro shot, which makes the finer details clear and sharp.

Another macro shot of a less creepy angel that is on our Christmas tree! This one has so much fine detail within the painting which I love being able to show within my photo.

A macro shot of a very cheery Father Christmas! This photo and the camera shows off the specific detail in his beard to show the layers and I feel that it really shows how Father Christmas should be perceived.

This is just a simple photo of when I was lying down beneath the lights attempting to take photos between flashes! I really like this photo as you can still see the star shape of the light and seeing the different colours reflecting off the wood and the roof.

Here is a photo taken with long exposure as I zoomed out from the tree. Full explanation found here. I love this style of photo as it is different from just a regular shot of a tree.

And last but not least a photo of my outfit from last years Christmas (2014). This was just a simple dress from The warehouse paired with a black stretchy belt and two necklaces that I got for Christmas. Let me know if you want to see a photo of my outfit for this year!

I hope that you have enjoyed this photograph post for today, if there is anything you're wanting to see throughout the twelve days of Christmas and next year feel free to comment, message me on Facebook or email me to let me know your suggestion.

Until next time, Merry Christmas, be happy and stay gorgeous! :3 xxx

Friends and Family at Christmas time - Twelve days of Christmas

Hello everyone! Welcome back to twelve days of Christmas!

Today I'm talking about family and friends which i know sounds like a odd subject but hear me out!

Family are your blood and should be the closest people to you, I'm really close with my mother, my sister and my Grandfather. Sadly not my father but that's not the point of what I'm saying. I find my family are always with me whether it be my adopted family (my mother's best friend in particular who i see as a second mum) or those that are blood they are there. I understand that not everyone gets on with their family but I'm sure that there is someone in your life that you count as your family.
These people are the best people in the world, pretty much whatever you do they will be there if they are of a good sort. Please respect and love these people in your life i get that you may not agree with them and they don't always understand what you're trying to say but they will try to do in their mind what is right for you.

When it comes to friends i hope you all don't have as many issues as i have had with my friend issues! These people are people you choose to love and be around, i struggle when it comes to friends but right now i have two of the best people in the world one being my boyfriend and the other being the bestest best friend there is. I have no idea where i would be without these two people in particular and i am so so thankful for them. When you find a good egg try even just to become a little more than strangers it will be worth it because totally good people are worth the world. Try and be that good egg also.

The point of this post is to get across that particularly around this time of year these sorts of people need to be appreciated. I'm not one to do this with words i just don't know how to get my point across so here i am typing it.
Appreciate the good people in life, if you don't have money to show your gratitude just tell them or write a card, it will brighten their day!

I hope that you have enjoyed this more intimate post for today and if there is anything you're wanting to see throughout the twelve days of Christmas and next year feel free to comment, message me on Facebook or email me!

Until next time, Merry Christmas, be happy and stay gorgeous! :3 xxx

Guide for fashion at work parties! - 12 days of Christmas

Hello again! Welcome to another twelve days of Christmas!

Today I'm talking about outfits suitable for 'work dos' as you know I had my own work do the other night and here is my outfit!

Dress - the warehouse
Coat - pagani
Shoes - hannahs

And here is my guide to dressing for a work party!
- Don't dress too fancy nor too casual unless you have been advised otherwise, this makes the awkward over dressed or under dressed situation
- Dress to the situation, I went out for a dinner so a dress with a nice coat and heels suited but it wouldn't if you're playing games or anything like that so think logically
- You want to dress appropriately and not necessarily how you would for a night out on the town as you're going to be around your boss(s) and work colleagues, you most likely have a good reputation and for some people dressing too inappropriately will hinder that.

Other than those feel free to dress as you like!
