Christmas photography

Hello!!
Today I want to talk about a Christmas photography idea that I found last year, but have since got a better camera so I decided to play around again this year.
I have a feeling that I saw this idea on facebook just one of those posts that float around. Here is one of my attempts at this;

This isn't my favourite photo but it outlines the idea of having the Christmas tree lights extending towards you, which is the aim. The technique I used to get this effect is to set your camera to multiple shots and zoom in and out; I found this easier with my SLR camera. If you have a preferred setting for lights that can take multiple shots feel free to use this. I just used the automatic setting and auto focus.

I found that the more you try this technique the easier it is to master and it takes heaaaaps of shots to get the right one!
Here is my favourite photo of the shoot I did.

The camera that I used is the canon EOS 1000D with a canon EFS 18-55mm lens.

Christmas bedroom decoration ideas!

Hi guys! :D

Today I thought I would talk about how I have decorated my room for Christmas this year. I am really into Christmas and I like to decorate my room as well as the living room. I do not have a lot of money so I have improvised with some decorations.

My favourite colour is pink, no matter what shade just pink, this has led to the Christmas colour theme of my room being pink and silver.

I bought myself a small fake 60cm green Christmas tree for $2 at the warehouse, I have placed this on my desk which is at the corner of my room. I decided to put it here as it is out of the way but still close enough to make my room festive. I managed to find a set of pink decorations for $8 also from the warehouse, this set included 6 small baubles, 3 sparkly pink ones, 3 metallic pink ones, and 3 shiny pinks one. Also included was a long but skinny piece of pink and silver tinsel and 2 metres of a pink ball garland. I have cut the tinsel in half as there was too much for my little tree so the half that I haven't put on my Christmas tree I put around the edge of my desk where the tree is. I also didn't put the garland on my tree as I seemed enough with the baubles and the tinsel, so I have stuck it on my door outlining the top with some hanging down in the middle. For the tree topper I found a small silver sparkly star for $2 at the warehouse.

In tradition I have a small red stocking with a white b stitched on the front hanging on the door knob beneath the ball garland, after adding this I decided that the middle of my door was quite bare and that I wanted a wreath to put up. I went on a search for a pink garland to no luck, so off to Pinterest I went to find a tutorial on how to make myself one. The tutorial I decided to use was one where you get a metal coat hanger bend it into a circular shape and wrap around some tinsel, I of course chose pink tinsel to do this.

This is very minimal decoration but your bedroom is completely decorated ready for Christmas!
I hope you enjoyed this mini post about my Christmas decorations, please let me know what you guy want me to post about or even let me know how you've decorated your room for this Christmas :)

Until next time, be happy, and stay gorgeous :3 xxx

My workout routine!

Heeey :)
Today I thought that I would share my workout routine with you! Now before I start I want to clear up that I haven't been told to do these exercises nor are they professional I have just read about some things and started to do them.

Every morning before I get dressed I do:
30 Crunches
- Lie on your back with your knees bent with your feet on the ground or tucked under something. Place your hands at either side of your head lightly touching, crunch up towards your knees pushing your feet down so they stay on the ground. Breathe in as you crunch and out as you release.

20 leg lifts, on each side
- Lie on your side, your head leaning against your hand. With one leg on top of the other raise the top leg as far as you can, hold for 5 seconds and release. That is one.

20 bicycles
- Lie on your back as you did with the crunch with your hands in the same place. Raise your legs slightly off the ground and hold them there. As you crunch up pull one knee towards your chest, as you crunch down push the leg back, that is one. Alternate legs and do 20, this equals to 10 each side.

30 squats
- Have your feet flat on the ground shoulder width apart. With your back straight extend your arms horizontally in front of you. Bend your knees and go down as if you were going to sit on a chair, make sure your knees don't go over your toes, push back up to be standing straight. That is one.

Then in the afternoon I go for a 2.5km walk up a nearby hill. If it’s raining I have an Exercycle so I will do 5km on that.

As I stated I am no health expert so I have no idea if this works it’s just what I do! Keeping that in mind I still do hope that you liked having this insight into my workout routine.

Until next time, Be Happy and Stay Gorgeous :3 xxx
